Today's Berkeley City Club offers the same finely-attuned service, impeccable cuisine and stunning array of unique rooms and gardens for intimate gatherings or large conferences. Celebrate your event in the stately members' lounge, an elegant ballroom or the lively and colorful terrace. Julia Morgan carefully designed each space to offer ease of service, surpassing beauty and welcoming friendliness.
An elegant setting for a wedding or concert, the Drawing Room has a fireplace and baby grand piano and is adjacent to a private courtyard with patio and garden.
With its original furniture designed by Julia Morgan, this bright and whimsical room is ideal for meetings, luncheons and dinner parties. Look for the Morgan-designed china in the display cupboard.
The fireplace, bookshelves and art will make your cocktail reception, party or dinner a truly memorable occasion. There’s also a grand piano and access to the Terrace.
The ideal setting for large gatherings, the elegant Ballroom has a stage and grand piano, and can be set up with a dance floor, performance-style seating and/or combined with the Venetian Room of the Terrace.
Adjoining the Ballroom, the Venetian Room has a bar and can host a separate meeting, reception, or dinner. It can also be used as part of a larger event.
The ivy-covered second floor Terrace is a lively and colorful setting for a ceremony, luncheon, or reception before an event in the adjoining Ballroom or Members’ Lounge. Heat lamps are available.
This small courtyard with adjacent loggia is ideal for an intimate luncheon or small meeting. Quiet (except for the music of the fountain), and filled with greenery, it is also a gorgeous photo location.
Adjacent to the ballroom, the Camellia Courtyard is reminiscent of Mediterranean garden. Opulently green, filled with unique art, it is the ideal setting for a cocktail reception or even an intimate wedding. A stunning location for photos.
Cozy narrow meeting area overlooking the courtyard.
